Benelli has announced the release of its new TRK generation of motorcycles, which will be available in two versions: the TRK702 and TRK702X. The TRK702 is designed for touring on paved roads and features a 50mm inverted fork and 17-inch rims. It has a saddle height of 790mm, making it accessible for most riders, and includes a 5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and a front-facing camera for recording videos and taking photos in real-time through a smartphone app.
The TRK702X is better suited for dual use, with a 19-inch front wheel and Pirelli Scorpion STR tires. It has a slightly higher seat height of 836mm and a minimum ground clearance of 210mm. Both models will be available in Greece in the first quarter of 2023 and will come with a list of optional accessories and parts, including heated grips and saddle and a tire pressure sensor. The retail prices for the Greek market will be announced on January 15.
The TRK series is designed to fill the gap between Benelli’s 502 and 800 models and is powered by an all-new 698cc inline-twin engine that produces 76.2 horsepower at 8,750 rpm and 7 kgm of torque at 6,250 rpm. The TRK702 is intended for touring on paved roads and offers excellent aerodynamic protection, while the TRK702X is better suited for off-road and on-road use. Both models come with a range of optional accessories and parts, including heated grips and saddle, a tire pressure sensor, and more.
In terms of design, the TRK models follow the silhouette of the larger TRK800 and feature a modern and aggressive appearance. The TRK702 has a 50mm inverted fork and 140mm of suspension travel at the front, while the TRK702X has a 19-inch front wheel and Pirelli Scorpion STR tires. Both models also have large TFT screens with Bluetooth connectivity and front-facing cameras that allow riders to record videos and take photos in real-time through a smartphone app.
Motoway, the exclusive representative of Benelli in Greece, has announced that the first deliveries of the TRK702 and TRK702X are expected in the first quarter of 2023.
